ECHO Idaho Something for the Pain, Season 3: Surveying Substance Use Disorders

Season 3 of ECHO Idaho’s Something for the Pain podcast features an overview of evidence-based insights, research updates, treatment options and other helpful information pertaining to substances commonly associated with substance use disorders, presented by an interdisciplinary team of Idaho healthcare experts.

Target Audience

This series was developed for primary care providers (MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, PharmD), counselors, social workers, public health professionals, and community organizations, but all clinicians are welcome.


Activities in this podcast series are available for 0.50 and up to 0.75 credits. Please see specific episodes for more details about credit availability.

The University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. The total number of approved credits is yet to be determined. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

 

Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapist Credit:

For the purpose of re-licensure, the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses recognizes the University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program as a provider of continuing education. To be considered continuing education, the session(s) are required to be germane to your practice. Final acceptance of the credit for recertification resides with your state board.

 

Social Worker Credit:

For the purpose of re-licensure, the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses recognizes the University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program as a provider of continuing education. All continuing education hours must be germane to the profession of social work at the individual’s particular level of social work licensure and the presenter’s level of education must be at the licensee’s level or above (Idaho State Board of Social Work Examiners 24.14.01 Rule 351-03b). Final acceptance of the credit for recertification resides with your state board.

Participants from states outside of Idaho are welcome and encouraged to attend! Please check with your state certification and licensure boards for specific considerations regarding claiming continuing education for participation in WWAMI Medical Education CE programs.

 

Alcohol and Drug Counselors:

The Idaho Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification (IBADCC) recognizes the University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program as an approved provider of continuing education.
