Counselor, Riverside Recovery

Lana Schuerman, LCPC, AACD, has provided counseling since 2016 and is currently a counselor at Riverside Recovery. She has experience working in rural Idaho communities and providing support in both outpatient and inpatient settings.  Lana has supported clients struggling with Severe Persistent Mental Illness, Substance Use Disorder, Comorbidity, persons under civil or competency commitment and more.  She works from the stance of ACT, polyvagal support, interpersonal therapy, and motivational interviewing.  When not working, you will find Lana playing songs on the ukulele (that really shouldn't be played on the uke) serenading her family and 4 dogs.
