Social Worker 1, Medical Case Manager, HealthTrust

I currently serve as a medical social worker, specializing in harm reduction and HIV/AIDS care. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and am working towards obtaining my Master's in Social Work. Formerly with Trivium Life Services, I led a dedicated team in delivering comprehensive care as the Case Management Team Coordinator/Supervisor. Additionally, I served as the lead case manager for the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion Program with the Boise Police Department for five years. I have supported SPMI individuals in the Ada County Mental Health Court as one of their case managers. I am proud to have co-established the Warm Handoff Program with St. Al's, offering crucial assistance to ER patients with substance use disorder-related issues at Trivium Life Services. I also assisted in establishing their harm reduction vending machine project to aid clients in gaining free access to harm reduction supplies. Furthermore, I served as a psychiatric technician at Allumbaugh House for five years, assisting patients in safely detoxing from substances and in mental health crises
