As an educator, pharmacist, and author, I am on a mission to empower others to live healthier, more intentional, and more resilient lives. I serve as the Thread Director for Pharmacology and Interprofessional Education at the Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, where I am an Associate Professor. I create psychologically safe environments for students to explore and learn complicated subjects in an understandable and relevant fashion. Well-being of healthcare professionals is a passion, and I am a national Wellness Ambassador and have delivered well-being, burnout prevention, and resiliency workshops and continuing education sessions for healthcare professionals regionally and nationally. My experience has led to publishing opportunities, and I have authored several book chapters, more than half a dozen textbooks, and multiple journal articles related to pharmacy, medical education, integrative health, and mind/body medicine.
