Occupational Therapist
Lisa Hong, OTD, is an Occupational Therapist with a specialty in dementia care for over 15 years. She completed her undergraduate and graduate work in Occupational Therapy at Idaho State University and received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy at Eastern Kentucky University. She has been Adjunct Faculty at Idaho State University as well as a member of the Volunteer Leadership Council, a Caregiver Support Group Facilitator & Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association-Greater Idaho Chapter. She currently serves as the Advocacy Chair for the Idaho Occupational Therapy Association.
Lisa practices in out-patient and in-home settings in Eastern Idaho, where she serves clients across the lifespan. While her passion is with dementia care, she has found a need and fulfillment in creating programs where OT can extend into the community. She is committed to working with students and has served as a fieldwork educator for many years. She also serves on committees for OTD education with University of Missouri.
