After graduating from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 2020, Alex Hytros completed his postgraduate year one pharmacy residency at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Before his current role, Alex served as the Extensivist Clinic pharmacist, providing comprehensive medication management to complex patient populations. As the Endocrine Clinical Pharmacist at the Boise VA, he specializes in optimizing care for patients with endocrine disorders, particularly those with diabetes and individuals undergoing gender-affirming hormone therapy. In addition to his clinical work, Alex is deeply involved in precepting pharmacy and medical residents, sharing his expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals. Outside of his professional work, Alex enjoys a good TV show binge, but can also be found reading a great mystery novel with his fur-babies or spending time outside gardening with his husband.
