I have been a staff gastroenterologist at the Boise VA Medical Center since 2020. I am also a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Prior to 2020, I served in various capacities at the University of Washington School of Medicine, including Gastroenterology Fellowship program director (2010-2020), NIH-funded investigator (1999-2012) with research focused on biliary epithelial cell biology, and staff gastroenterologist based at the University of Washington Medical Center (1995-2020). I am a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Medicine, and completed my internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Washington.
