Dawn Amos

PRATS Manager, Division of Public Health, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare
Dawn Amos works for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare as a research analyst and manager of the Idaho Pregnancy Risk Assessment Tracking System (PRATS). She is a proud third-generation Vandal, with a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Idaho. She is only a few months away from completing her Master of Public Health at Idaho State University. For the past seven years, Dawn has dedicated herself to conducting research that improves health and wellbeing. She has served and collaborated with numerous organizations, such as the National Institutes of Health, NASA, United Airlines, and the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, to provide health promotion, education, and research. While she has contributed to research on a variety of topics, her greatest passion is women’s health. As a fifth generation Idahoan, Dawn is committed to improving the health of Idaho women and children. She is honored to serve the strong women and birthing people in our state.
