Debbie is the Chief Executive Officer of the Walker Center and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor holding a NAADAC credential as MAC (Master Addiction Counselor). She serves on the Executive Committee of Region 5 Behavioral Health Board, is the Central Regional Director of the IAAP (Idaho Association of Addiction Professional) the state affiliate for NAADAC, the Association of Addiction Professionals, and Region 5 Representative to the Idaho Board of Alcohol Drug Counselor Certification (IBADCC). Debbie served on the Idaho Behavioral Health Advisory Committee to Governor Brad Little’s Idaho Behavioral Health Council. She served as Chair of the Program and Services Workgroup, and was a member of the Housing Workgroup. Debbie has over 35 years of clinical experience and strives to educate, reduce stigma, and push for efficiencies and funding for the field to create clinical quality. Debbie combines her clinical and administrative knowledge to advocate for system changes, individual needs, and family needs. Treatment is about providing hope and engaging an entire support system into the process of change.
