Dr. Cook joined the Digestive Health Clinic, LLC in 2020 after retiring from the U.S. Air Force following 20 years of service. He is originally from Virginia, where he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and his medical school training and Internal Medicine residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. His gastroenterology training was at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He served in various clinical and leadership positions throughout his Air Force career and had multiple deployments in support of both combat missions and humanitarian efforts. Dr. Cook is board-certified in gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
