Ed Robertson, Physical Therapist

Ed Robertson, PT has 30 years of orthopedic experience as a Clinic Owner, Department Director, and now the Lead Clinician at Summit Therapy in Pullman, WA. Ed has developed a successful evaluation and treatment protocol for foot and ankle diagnoses. His treatment approach incorporates a range of techniques including manual therapy, unique taping strategies, and a novel therapeutic exercise regimen. His Advanced Foot and Ankle Course is the culmination of decades of clinical experience, frustration with what has traditionally been taught about evaluation and treatment of common foot and ankle pathologies, and incorporating the latest research into a successful treatment model that will affect every lower half diagnosis seen in the clinic.
Ed earned his Bachelors of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 1990. He has taught Basic Biomechanics and Analysis of Human Movement at Washington State University. He is a frequent Guest Speaker at several state, regional, and international American Podiatric Medical Association conferences. Ed has designed and patented an ankle brace for the prevention and treatment of ankle sprains and other foot pathologies that also is a more functional alternative to the walking boot.
