Christopher Arena, Orthopedic Surgeon, Foot and Ankle Specialist
Dr. Arena is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle / lower extremity. He completed his undergraduate education at Penn State University majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Bio-Engineering. He then completed his four-year medical school training at West Virginia University where he earned a Doctorate of Medicine degree (M.D.). He returned to Penn State University where he completed a 5-year Orthopedic Surgery Residency/Chief Residency. Following the completion of his residency training, Dr. Arena, completed an Orthopedic Surgery Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City.
Dr. Arena’s focuses on providing world class, cutting edge orthopedic care for patients with conditions of the lower extremity. He serves as an adjunct instructor at the University of Idaho and the University of Utah and continues to publish research papers in the field of orthopedic surgery. Dr. Arena also serves as a Journal Review for Foot and Ankle International.
