Janelle Nostrandt

Janelle Nostrandt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is currently practicing in the perinatal mental health program at the Saint Alphonsus Family Center- PEACE Program. Janelle is specialized in helping women and families develop skills to manage depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and confidence issues related to fertility, pregnancy and postpartum. Prior to her work at the family center Janelle worked as an inpatient medical social worker at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. She will be celebrating 10 years of services with Saint Alphonsus this summer. Janelle also has experience working with agencies to provide community mental health and developmental disability services.
Janelle graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 2014 with a master’s degree in social work and received an undergraduate degree in both Psychology (BA) and Biology (BS) from The College of Idaho in 2010. She has advanced clinical training in EMDR and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International. Janelle currently serves as Board Chair for the Idaho Chapter of Postpartum Support International.
