Dorothy Plaza is a Registered Nurse and National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) lifestyle coach. Possessing a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Lewis and Clark State College, Dorothy's proficiency is further recognized through her certification as a Master Trainer Select by the Diabetes Training and Technical Assistance Center (DTTAC) at Emory University in Atlanta. With a deep commitment to serving her community, Dorothy serves as the Chair of the Diabetes Alliance of Idaho, leveraging her expertise and experience to enhance the well-being of Idaho's residents. Her fervent belief in the importance of diabetes prevention fuels her efforts to support National DPP programs across the state, actively working to combat the onset of diabetes in local communities. Currently residing in Moscow, Idaho, she cherishes her time spent with her husband, two children, their spouses, and seven beloved grandchildren.
