Reiko Emtman is a Geriatric Psychiatrist who works at the VA. She has a degree in Zoology from Idaho State University and attended University of Washington School of Medicine in the Idaho WWAMI program. She completed psychiatry residency in the University of Washington Idaho Track program where she served as a Chief Resident and went on to do a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School at Cambridge Health Alliance. Her professional interests include quality improvement, patient safety and improving quality of life in individuals with neurocognitive disorder. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking and aquascaping.
