Asynchronous ECHO K12 School Nurses
By participating in ECHO Idaho K12 Education series, educators can earn professional development credits. Credits are offered in partnership with the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences and will be transcribed for FREE through the University of Idaho. Whether you join our sessions live or access them asynchronously, we recognize and appreciate your commitment to education. School nurses play a vital role in delivering essential health services and education to students, teachers, and school communities. Their work is critical to ensuring that students can learn and thrive in the classroom.
ECHO Idaho’s K12 School Nurses series offers a virtual platform for school nurses and allied health professionals to enhance their knowledge-base and skills, while simultaneously connecting them with colleagues and healthcare experts from across the state of Idaho.
Led by an interdisciplinary panel of experts specializing in school nursing, pediatrics, mental health, special education, and more, this series helps participants learn and implement best practices by engaging in interdisciplinary conversations and case-based learning. These hour-long, virtual sessions are a convenient and interactive form of learning.
Target Audience
This series was developed for school nurses and others providing health services in the K12 setting, but all school and health care professionals are welcome.

| Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapist Credit: For the purpose of re-licensure, the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses recognizes the University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program as a provider of continuing education. To be considered continuing education, the session(s) are required to be germane to your practice. Final acceptance of the credit for recertification resides with your state board. |
| Social Worker Credit: For the purpose of re-licensure, the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses recognizes the University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program as a provider of continuing education. All continuing education hours must be germane to the profession of social work at the individual’s particular level of social work licensure and the presenter’s level of education must be at the licensee’s level or above (Idaho State Board of Social Work Examiners 24.14.01 Rule 351-03b). Final acceptance of the credit for recertification resides with your state board. Participants from states outside of Idaho are welcome and encouraged to attend! Please check with your state certification and licensure boards for specific considerations regarding claiming continuing education for participation in WWAMI Medical Education CE programs. |
